Fujifilm’s XF16-55mmF2.8 R LM WR is one of Fujifilm’s attempts to pull working professionals over to the system with high-quality versatile lens offerings. Not everyone shoots with small fast prime lenses, and many working professionals rely day-in-day-out on their standard and telephoto zoom lenses to get the job done. The 16-55mmF2.8 is just that - a standard zoom that gets the job done āļĢāļĩāļ§āļīāļ§āđ€āļĨāļ™āļŠāđŒāļŸāļđāļˆāļī | Mini Review Lens Fujinon XF 16-55 F2.8. āļ„āļģāļ§āđˆāļēāļžāļāđ€āļĨāļ™āļŠāđŒāļ•āļąāļ§āđ€āļ”āļĩāļĒāļ§āđ€āļ—āļĩāđˆāļĒāļ§āļ—āļąāđˆāļ§āđ‚āļĨāļ āļĄāļąāļ™āļĄāļĩāļāļĒāļđāđˆāļˆāļĢāļīāļ‡ āđ€āļĨāļ™āļŠāđŒāļ—āļĩāđˆāļ—āļąāđ‰āļ‡āļĢāļ°āļĒāļ°āļ”āļĩ āļ āļēāļžāļ„āļĄ āļāļąāļ™āļ™āđ‰āļģāļāļąāļ™āļāļļāđˆāļ™āđ„āļ”āđ‰ I have both the EOS R + RF 24-105 and the X-H1 + 16-55 mm f2.8. As previously noted, the XF 16-55mm sports premium linear motors in its autofocus design, and these give the lens an excellent autofocus performance. I should note that I did my review on the Fuji X-T3, which, at the time of this review, is Fuji’s newest and most sophisticated autofocusing camera. This im considering trying out fuji. just getting m10.2 and the 12-40 and seeing what i can do with it. whilst the fuji body is smaller than the em1 etc, the 18-55 is not a small lens and the 16-55 f2.8 definitely not lightweight (full of glass) Reply Reply with quote Reply to thread Complain. The 18-55 is a good example. Dull boring focal length - f2.8 compared with F1.4 or F2 primes - but actually pretty decent all things considered. 35mm f1.4 and 23/35/50mm f2. I do not use stock hoods of Fujifilm lenses because of extra bulk and design I don't like. I have found alternative hoods for all other lenses I have but two: 14mm f2.8. 16-55mm f2.8. Main criteria is to make a lens with hood attached smaller and take less space in the bag (with hood attached). The XF 16-55mm F2.8 R LM WR is the equivalent of 24-84mm in 35mm terms, and features a constant f/2.8 aperture across its zoom range. Autofocus speed is a blazing 0.06 seconds, and the focusing V9TI.
