But when I compared the larger 42mm (equivalent to 44mm) to the smaller 38mm, I really preferred the larger display. So that's what I did. I went with a Series 0 with a 42mm display. Five years later, I have no regrets. Thewatch is much easier to wear and the screen size is plenty enough with series 7 for general usage. Don’t really know any reasons where bigger would be better in my case. 41mm looks “normal” size while 45mm would still function ok on your wrist but looks too big/cumbersome to my eyes. My wrist is also the same size and I have the 41mm Thesmall Apple Watch size is 38mm and the larger is 42mm.
